Fire Monitoring Enquiries
ADT Select
Messaging
ADT’s automated paging system transmits messages containing event information to provide notification to Service Agents, 24/7. The event signal is received into ADT’s central monitoring system and then sent to Service Agent pagers or mobiles via ADT’s message handling service.
Who receives the messages?
ADT will not send messages related to a particular Fire Alarm to any other party than the NZFS, the Service Agent for that Fire Alarm or the owner of that Fire Alarm. Our centralised monitoring system manages this process.
What if a message isn’t actioned?
At certain times of the day, any outstanding events are classed as “Off Normal” and we page the customers Service Agent. Off Normal” events are paged at 0800, 1600 and 2000.
In addition, events which occurred between 2000 and 0700 are sent to the customers Service Agent at 0700 to advise how many faults were received over night.
