How it works
The status of your fire alarm system is constantly monitored by the Fire Alarm Panel in your premises.
An alarm signal is generated by your fire alarm system.
The Alarm Signalling Equipment (ASE) supplied by ADT Fire Monitoring combines this information with its own status and sends it to the ADT Fire Monitoring central monitoring system using the built-in Mobile Wireless modem.
For additional safety and protection in the network, a back-up analogue telephone line (PSTN) is available.
The ADT Fire Monitoring platform processes the signals and sends the appropriate events to the New Zealand Fire Service as well as simultaneously providing events to the customers’ nominated Service Agent.
Fire response vehicles are dispatched.
