- The fees for connection and monitoring are standard nationwide and are held for the agreed Customer contract term.
- Annual CPI increase may apply.
- The above monitoring rates include NZFS levies. Any increase to these fees will be on charged to the customer.
- The monthly recurring fee structure applies from the day the panel is connected to the NZFS STSMHS and ADT Fire Monitoring Systems.
- Installation and servicing charges apply on completion of work and confirmed live commissioning test.
- Pricing effective January 2009.

- Monitoring Fees are invoiced quarterly unless otherwise requested.
Backup Analogue Phone Line (PSTN)
To ensure maximum benefit from the fire monitoring system, ADT recommends installing a PSTN analogue telephone line as a back up for communications. A PSTN line increases the communications coverage from an average of 97.99% to 99.99% and provides the additional benefit of enabling ADT to conduct remote diagnostics of the fire alarm system.
For instance if the fire alarm system stops communicating through the primary path a signal can be sent down to the panel to diagnose what the problem is. In addition, the fire system can be re-started through this same method thereby decreasing the necessity for a Service Agent to make an unnecessary trip to site.
